So technically, as creatives in a digital age, lali is used to doing almost everything creative on a computer. Unless we’re doing marker sketches (is that a car or a bubble with four lumps?) or taking notes, I’m writing scripts and Lindsey is doing comps or we’re both writing emails on the computer.
However, the holidays with lali wouldn’t be complete with a little DIY arts and craftsing.
So we decided to make holiday cocktails in a mug for our fellow Chiaters. Peppermint schnapps and hot chocolate for the ladies (included fancy peppermint marshmallows and a candy cane stirrer) and hot toddies with Makers Mark for the gentlemen. Li cheated and made recipe cards with our lali header on the computer, although she cut them out by hand!
Here are our supplies:

And thank you Target, for giving us an unexpected bottle of Astroglide natural lube that we didn’t pay for surprisingly in our bag of holiday goodies:

Here’s a preview of the mugs stuffed with festive cheer (pre-cellophane):

And here’s a photo of the injury I incurred while mishandling the scissors (apparently arts & crafts is dangerous for me!):

And finally, here is Carrie Schaer, our lovely and wonderful producer, who sent us a text message of her enjoying the spiked hot chocolate on Saturday night:

Lots of holiday love and alcoholic cheer to the people who made 2010 Chiat Days and Nights great this year!
xo from two lalis who would rather be enjoying some whiskey in a hot toddy than blogging right now!
